| I am also about to migrate my sql server 7.0 32-bit database to sql 2005 64-bit edition database. When I come to think of any problems that I may face, only thing concerns me is if there is something I have to do to put my database on 64-bit server? Because currently its running on 32-bit server.Anybody has any idea on it.Sorry, if I posted this into a wrong thread. I just thought its a similar issue. Ujjaval |

| there is nothing special you need to do to convert a 32bit datbase to 64bit. You can either do backup/restore or you can do detach/attach. After detach/attach i would make sure that the datbase is at the right compatibility level though.-ec |
