| Michael writes "I have a sql 6.5 server running on NT4 backing up a database nightly. The backup now fails and I get the following error message.(Mesg 18210 : tbswriteflush: Write failure on backup device '\\.\TAPE0', returned operating system error 1117(The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.)This error message is seen in the event viewer application log as well as in the sql error log.
