| Which server role and privilege do I need to add and grant to alogin that need to create DTS packages and trasfer packages? |

| you can't create a DTS package in SQL Server 2005.you have SSIS (SQL Server Integration services) for this. SSIS is developed in Visual Studio. since this is a client app that needs a connection string to sql server you set the user there. this user has to have privileges to do what you need to do in the database._______________________________________________Causing trouble since 1980blog: http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/mladenp |
