| I have one query which is calulating running total and taking just 6 mins to run on production SQL Server 2000 server but it is taking more than 45 mins to run on QA on SQL Server 2005 server. The index and data is same on both server, What other things we can check beside the index?Thanks |

| Did you change the Compatibility Mode to 90 and rebuild all indexes and statistics after migrating from SQL 2000 to 2005 ?Kristen |

there are several fixes that SP2 has that delt with performance differences between 2000 and 05 RTM and 05 SP1This is assuming that you are at apples to apples server and san hardware and SQL Server configuration options.Are you at SQL 05 SP2?Thanks..Richard |
