Hi all,

We are planning to create a new application which is used to send email to more that 5million users.My question is that waht will be effect on database when such a large transaction occurs.

Please be respectful of these forums in that we answer questions for free. If something is due today, you should have better planned out your time so that this "problem" was not urgent.

Depends how it is implemented.
Which database do you mean, how do you access it, what info to you get and update, how are the emails sent.

Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.
DTS can be used in a similar way.
