Hi Experts,
I am having already sql server 2005 enterprise edition in my box, but i want to install sql server 2005 standard edition in the same box, but I am getting the following error, so how to solve this problem through command promt?

To change an existing instance of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 to a different edition of SQL Server 2005, you must run SQL Server 2005 Setup from the command prompt and include the SKUUPGRADE=1 parameter.

Your answer will be soo apriciable......

-Thanks N Regards,
Kanthi.

You should be able to install another named instance on the server. Can you post what you did step by step?
