| Whenever I attempt to turn my server into a Replication Publisher, the Wizard tells me that the SQL Server Agent is currently using the system account, and that this makes replication impossible between other servers. BUT, when I access the Server Agents properties via Management, I cannot change the Service startup account as the two options are greeked out (un selectable)!!!I've asked the person who installed the SQL server in the first place how he did so, and he has the SQL server using the system account, and then created the default sa account. How can I administer this Server Agent account so I can do replication? What do i have to change in the rest of the SQL server settings? I'm also not connected directly to the Server, so have to use Enterprise Manager (although I can NetOp to the box if required)Thanks for your advice. |
