| Hi,I have installed SQL 2005(Developer Edition) in Windows vista.While Installing I have choosen Mixed mode and i gave the password too.The installation was finised successfully. But i cant able to login It says "Login failed". I have applied Sp2 also. Windows vista home editionSQL 2005 Developer edition.What is the problem and How can solve this issue.Can any one help me..?Thankskrishna |

| I cant login. While login its saying login failedRickD, In SAC, I have seen Services are Running, in remote connections the Local and remote connection option is enabled. Under the Local and remote connections "Using both TCP/IP and Named pipes " is enabledThankskrishna |

On VISTA, local administrator is not longer automatically given SA rights in SQL Server.You have to add yourself to SQL administrators with the SURFACE AREA tool. E 12°55'05.25"N 56°04'39.16" |
