| Hi,How does one go about setting up a trusted connection to sqlserver 2005 so I don't have to put the username/password in the web.config file?Are there any other adv/disadv. with doing this? |

| You are doing things incorrectly if you think that you provide username/pwd in your config file with a trusted/windows authentication. | Ok sorry I am confused.If I simply put "Driver={SQL Server};Server=myServerAddress;Database=myDataBase;Trusted_Connection=Yes;" for my connection string, that will automatically give me access to the server? Where is the authentication being preformend? |
