Hello,
there are some limitations in SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition - e.g. there is no TRUNCATE TABLE statement, the UPDATE .. FROM clause is not allowed etc. Are these limitations in Compact Edition too? Is T-SQL in these editions functionally equal or different? Is there any comparison of T-SQL features in both editions?

Neither of these links refers to T-SQL restrictions nor makes comparison.

well in books online I Filter by "SQL Server Mobile" then when I see "Update" in available topics it says "UPDATE statement [SQL Server Compact Edition]" so that makes me think they are the same.

I have downloaded SQL Server 2005 Compact Edition Books Online, which contains information I need. This edition has the same limitations I have mentioned above. So the question is answered.
