Aaron McKinnon writes "I am FAR from a DBA, but I need some help. I am currently running SQL 7.0 build 961 (should be SP3) on a Windows 2000 SP2 server. The problem is sqlserver.exe seems to leak memory. Now, I am fairly convinced that is a code issue and needs to be addressed by my developer, but how can I go about chasing it down?

The symptom is as soon as SQL starts it will grow in memory usage by 28K every second (via PerfMon). I am monitoring a whole host of other processes and don't see any problems. With in a few days I'll be up at 300+ M and counting... I am not aware of any necessary HotFixes that address this issue.

Ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Aaron McKinnon"
