Guys,
Hope you had good Xmas.

In SQL 2000 I have multiple jobs and I am using custom Job completion/Failure/Success notification process using one stadard SP.

Now in SQL Server 2005, I can see Database mail, which is good one. I know how to use it.. works fine for notification.

I want to notify multiple operators about Job succes/Failure/Completion created through databases maintenance plans. Under every job you can speficy notification to group operators (using ;) but that will be based on only one of event.

I know how to use T-SQL to send database email, which I can use to send email to multiple opeators.. but is this only way?

or is there any other GUI process?

Many Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can check multiple operators in job notification page in ssms.

Thanks for your reply. I can only select one Operastor (which is either a group or singal email) under Job notification page. How can we select multiple there?

My Task is simple.

A job completed/Failed/Success, I want to send out differant Notification mesages to diferant operators. Now under every job you have noticaition option which can give you only one action at a time (Success or Failure or compelted)

I can setup a new Job Step using XP_SEND _MAIL FOR FAILURE/SUCCESS AND COMPLETED, and use step navigations to send emails on differat actions, but I will have to do that for every single job...

Any simplar way to deal with this?

Many Thanks
