| we have a file group that contains of three datafiles, but for some reasons, SQL only used the PRIMARY datafiles and the other two are not being used. what command do I need to run in order for SQL to use all three datafiles are any given time?thanks |

| Sql should use all files in the group. Are you sure they are in same file group? |

| I think Michael is right, In fact this is what I found out:1. create the first filegroup and put the primiary in there so that all of the system tables goes in there.2. create another filesgroup with more than 2 datafiles and for SQL to use the second filesgroup so that all of the files are being used.Please correct me if I ma wrong. |

| You can put all files in file group, even don't need multiple files. |
