In SQL Server 2005 I 'results to text' set and I run a query. I save the query by right-clicking on the results set and selecting file save as and I save it as a text file. This file is around 46K. I run the same query with the same settings and the file is around 23K. If I were to copy the 2005 results to a new txt file and save it, the file is around 23K. I am unable to use the 2005 file to update a 2000 database unless I copy the contents into a new txt file and use that file for the update. My collation is the same as my 2000 server. My Query options also match my 2000 options. Will someone please tell me what the difference is and how I can change it?Thanks. |
