I've just downloaded a SSIS toolkit. I was wondering how you would add these tools to the SSIS development environment.

By installing toolkit maybe. Which SSIS toolkit you are talking about?

I've heard you need to add the new tasks to GAC (Global Assembly Cache) of you machine for getting the custom tasks listed on your toolbox of VS
