Hmmm. I had a similar problem when installing SMSS 2005 on my work PC last year...have you installed IIS (required for reporting services)..that may be the snag.http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143506.aspx Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. |

Dunno..same thing happened to me before i remembered I had to install IIS first. Then it worked fine. Does it still fail after you install IIS? Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. |

I Have fixed on Control panel box on Add/ Remove Windows Wizard and re-Run the COM+ Components to fix.Add/Remove Snap-in.In the Add/Remove Snap-in window, Add.Add Standalone Snap-in window, select Component Services from the list of snap-ins, and then click Add.close the Add Stand-alone Snap-in window, close the Add/Remove Snap-in window. In the Console Root\Component Services window, expand the Component Services tree. This is where any error message would occur if there was a problem with COM+.(Here There is no Error Occured for me)Run Setup again. If you get an error message, reinstall COM+.(Here There is no Error Occured for me) I dont have another CD but It is good set of 2 CD's.Further Any Suggestions........... |
